DOO” VISOVI”

DOO “VISOVI” was founded in the year 2001, with the aim to raise the economy offers and to ennoble the content of Zabljak, and to stand as a guardian angel and promoter of the traditional Durmitorian ecological products.

The very unique conditions of the Durmitor area, enable us to reach for the very best in product quality, now well known for years, checked and re-checked, proven by the very existence of our grand-fathers, which lived to a ripe old age and were in good health all thanks to suchlike products.



The basic activities of DOO ‘VISOVI’ are:

• PURCHASE AND PROCESSING OF MEAT FROM THIS PARTS,
• PROCESSING OF MILK FROM THE DURMITOR AREA,
• DRYING OF MEAT IN THE TRADITIONNAL WAY AND IN OWN SMOKING HUTS,
• RETAIL IN OWN RETAIL PLACES.



PLANS:
We plan raising our own sheep (producing meat, cheese and skorup – skim from the milk), and our own beef on Durmitor meadows (in the traditional way). We plan also top make our own mini slaughter house, and to widen the capacity of our smoking huts.

In the world there is a shortage of pure healthy food, there is a host of problems with genetically manipulated food, there is the problem of genetical engineering, there is the problem of food additives, and all other negative trends in the food processing. All of this is something UNKNOWN, we simply do not do it, and that’s the power to us. Our products are unique, and easily identified and those who value it will recognize them on the whole planet.



Durmitor offers everything, and food is one of its offerings. We plan to make our range of products reachable for many.
